Gordon Liu known for movies like Kill Bill and the classic 36 Chambers Of Shaolin is a living legend. His movies have influenced a generation of kids to go out and create their own 36 chambers in the backyards. What I really like about most of Gordon Liu’s characters is there never give up attitude. What makes his movies so appealing is they give you a sense of if he can do it so can I attitude.

The Mook Jong Also known as the wooden dummy has a few different variations that different martial art styles have incorporated. For example  Choy Lee Futs jong is different from ip mans jong they both serve the same purpose to train a students techniques and to develop their arms and legs.

Some people may argue that wood doesn’t hit back and that training on the wooden man maybe a bit overkill. If you feel that wooden dummy practice is worthless I recommend letting someone who trains with one hit you with their arms and see if your tune changes…
