Make sure to watch the video its about how you can improve your grappling game.

First before I get into my MMA (Mixed Martial Art) rant. I want to apologize for not posting here in a really long time. The past 2 years have been a lot of highs and lows in my life. I plan on posting here on a more regular basis going forward. Make sure to watch the video its about how you can improve your grappling game.

It seems since the 90’s everyone has been talking about popularity of MMA

My personal take on MMA is that mixed martial arts isn’t a new phenomenon it’s been practices for hundreds if not thousands of years. Ever since man felt the need to be violent towards one another.

I am of the opinion that the people who are still comparing martial arts aren’t very mature martial artist. I have friends and students who have been doing martial arts for 40 plus years and the longer a person trains the more they self discover themselves the more they realize that martial art styles don’t really matter.

What matters is: How you train.

In the World Of Kung Fu there are conversations all over the world with people wondering if Kung Fu is going to survive the MMA era of martial arts.

I find this puzzling to say the least because Kung Fu has been around for hundreds upon hundreds of years. To say that it’s going somewhere is a crazy thought.

That just goes to show you how many people are focused on mainstream events. It’s a funny notion to think that Kung fu is an underground thing, but here we are in 2018 and people talk about Kung Fu like it’s something from the past.

The reality is MMA is nothing new, people have been practicing MMA style combat since martial arts started. It’s only natural for a warrior to want to cross train in other martial arts. After all a true warrior prepares themselves for whatever they may face on the battlefield.

Ultimately as long as there are bullies in the world people will seek to learn martial arts and many of those people will be drawn to Kung Fu.
